Assignment #3

Option Three: Write one paragraph about a time when you felt uncomfortable or out of place. Where were you? Who were you with? Why did you feel so out of place? What did you learn about yourself as a result? Be sure you include a topic sentence, specific examples that support your topic sentence, and a final concluding sentence that wraps up your ideas.
I felt uncomfortable when I just started playing Softball. It was my first year playing for Edina the reason why I felt uncomfortable was because I didn't know how to play softball. The girls that were in the team had all ready been practicing on their own or with other members of the team or they played when they were little, for me it was the first year and i didn't have a clue in what to do. Smiles was one of the girls that taught me the basics skills, she helpped me a lot even when she new that i sucked at it. I felt left out when I was with the other team members. What I learn about my self is that even when i felt uncomfortable i didn't let my self down when i was really bad at playing softball. After that Im still really shy to open with other people.

Assignment #2

I really agree with his George comments, because sometimes friends can make you do or dare you to do crazy stuff. Sometimes friends can be fake when they tell you that they are your best friends and that they have your back, but sometimes those friends can dare you to do bad things telling you that is okay when they know it's wrong. Hooking up with the wrong crowd can really make you go through the wrong path just because you don't want to be left out of the crowd. I seen people act differently when they are with their friends they act mean and they make fun of people just because the rest of their friends are doing that, but when they are alone they are a different person. My friends haven't really pressure me but when they ask me things I sometimes feel that I just don't fit in the group, for example my friends ask that why I don't drink?, and I just tell them that it's a waste of time and that is not worth it. I've heard some people that one day they are going to try to get one of their friends drunk, that is not really smart to say and those aren't real friends. This is what I think on what George said

Assignment #1

1. Why do you think Rameck made the choices he did? He knew right from wrong, so what motivated him to choose the "wrong" path as a teen? 1. What i think is that he was influenced by his friends, and since all of them did crazy stuff. I don't think that Rameck wanted to be left out of the group. Sometimes people act differently when they are hanging with others, just to be cool. Going threw the wrong path can bring you a lot of bad consequences. Friends can sometimes motivate you to do makea wrong decission, just because they don't know the difference between what is right and what is wrong.
2. Considering both his parents were drug addicts, was he really responsible for his actions? Explain your opinion. I don't think that he was really responsible, becuase of the examples that his parents are giving him it's simply the wrong way of life. Rameck kind off follows his parents steps not exacly threw drugs but hanging out with the wrong people at the wrong place.
3. Are young people responsible for their actions if they have no good role models or people to teach them the right way to live? Explain your opinion. What i think is that sometimes is right to have a good role model to follow there steps and go to the right path. Also some people that have a bad role model may have had a bad experience through thier lifes. They might not want to follow their steps, so they choose to go through the right path.
4. Who are the biggest influences in your own life? In what ways have they shaped you? What have they taught you? My biggest influences is my mom becuse she always had told me that no matter what i need to keep goin
